By downloading or using the PlanerBuddy application ("App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PlanerBuddy is a personal and group expense management utility that operates primarily offline. The App provides tools for tracking expenses, managing budgets, and calculating split settlements among participants.

3. Disclaimer of Accuracy

While we strive for absolute precision in our algorithms, PlanerBuddy is provided for informational and convenience purposes only. We are not responsible for any financial discrepancies, disputes among group members, or calculation errors that may arise from using the App. You should always verify critical financial figures manually.

4. User Responsibilities

Since PlanerBuddy is an offline-first application, you are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your physical device.
• Backing up your device to prevent data loss. PlanerBuddy does not provide cloud backups for your data by default.
• The accuracy of the data you input into the App.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The App, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the PlanerBuddy team and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the PlanerBuddy team, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
